Emotional archaeology in living matter

Asturian black pottery stands as the conceptual core: its layers and tonal variations engage in a dialogue with ash, a residue that is both end and beginning. Each applied, sanded, and eroded layer generates an emotional topography where the material does not illustrate, but rather structures the discourse.

The contrast between the dark density of the support and the ceramic surface creates a tension between artisanal tradition and contemporary language. Light sculpts the work just as the artist does, revealing reliefs and depressions that transform before the viewer's eyes.
